The cultivation and development of artistic and creative talent is at the forefront of the vision which Shore Points Press wishes to address throughout New Jersey. In keeping with that objective, we have compiled a list if available Open Mics throughout the Garden State. This list is constantly in revision, and we ask for your help in assisting us with this project. If you know of a venue which is available for Spoken Word participants, please email us! Along those same lines, if we have a venue posted which is no longer hosting events, or is not a Poetry-friendly venue, please let us know so that we can remove them from these lists!
It is important to meet and interact with peers who are also seeking to become an integral part of the literary scene. Use these lists to network with peers, develop writing workshops, and to criticize your work before submitting them for publication.
